Instala Congreso de Nayarit Comité de Ética
• “El servicio público no se vende ni se corrompe, quien incumpla la disposición del Código de Ética será sujeto a responsabilidades administrativas”: Espinoza Peña
Tepic, 18 de mayo de 2022.- Para vigilar la actuación de las diputadas, diputados, funcionarios y personal de este Poder Legislativo, por primera vez en la historia del Congreso del Estado se instaló el Comité de Ética al interior de este órgano parlamentario.
Bajo los principios de legalidad, honradez, lealtad, imparcialidad, eficiencia, economía, disciplina, profesionalismo, objetividad, transparencia, rendición de cuentas, competencia por mérito, eficacia, equidad y además la obligación de cumplir con las reglas de integridad, se regirá el Comité de Ética que preside la diputada Alba Cristal Espinoza Peña.
Al instalar este Comité, la presidenta del Congreso local, Alba Cristal Espinoza Peña, advirtió que cualquier funcionario público que incumpla con el Código de Ética podrá ser sujeto a las investigaciones administrativas y los procedimientos de responsabilidades, “el servicio público no es un juego, ya no más improvisación, el servicio público no se vende ni se corrompe en el Poder Legislativo”.
“En la XXXIII Legislatura se busca respetar, honrar y dignificar el servicio público, porque todas y todos de esta Casa del Pueblo nos debemos a la sociedad, por ello no hay cabida para ningún acto de corrupción”, afirmó la diputada local.
El Comité de Ética que preside la líder del Congreso del Estado, diputada Alba Cristal Espinoza Peña, tiene la encomienda de promover una cultura de ética y su cumplimiento, prevenir conductas contrarias al Código, denunciarlas, promover la transparencia y publicidad de los valores de integridad de la conducta ética.
El Código de Ética del Poder Legislativo lo conforman 23 artículos y tres transitorios, los cuales permitirá fortalecer la transparencia, la rendición de cuentas, la legalidad y el combate a la corrupción; acciones que los servidores públicos de manera individual asumirán esta cultura de ética y de servicio a la sociedad. El Comité de Ética también lo integran otros representantes populares, funcionarios de la Oficialía Mayor, Dirección de Administración de Personal, Contraloría Interna, la Secretaría General y personal de este Poder Legislativo.
